Why a dedicated calculator

Standard deviation hides its arithmetic in two easy-to-muddle formulas: population divides by n, sample divides by n − 1. Pick the wrong denominator and an entire report comes out wrong. stdbee handles both modes side by side, computes count, mean, both variances and both deviations at once, and prints the whole working so a deadline or an examiner can trace every step.
